Cooking with Micaceous Pottery:
Always season your pot before initial use. Wipe interior with olive oil and place it on a cookie sheet upside down at 200 degrees for 2 hours in the oven. Wipe interior of pot again with olive oil after it cools and are ready for cooking. Slow cook any meats, fish, most vegetables, grains, legumes, etc.
Avoid using acidic foods such as tomatoes. Bake in oven, wood stove or top of stove!
 
To Clean:
Clean with plastic scraper and a little water. Do not soak. Wipe dry and then wipe again with olive oil and then you're ready to cook some more! Do not clean in dishwasher!
