My current body of work reflects my journey as it pertains to the environment that surrounds me. I am captivated by the expansive landscape of the southwest and New Mexico is my primary muse. The mountainous desert landscape and ecosystem connect with me in a language I can only describe as spiritual. I feel a deep, familiar connection with a land that is still so new to me. There is a visual rhyme and rhythm here I seek to know more intimately. My paintings are a representation of my own personal experiences with the high desert. They are as open to interpretation as is the landscape of the Southwest. These are my songs of New Mexico.
